They currently should look to the States, Germany etc, the powerbases for womens football and get the very best with an Englishwoman as number 2 who can learn.
Our WSL should be producing a national side that is performing much better than this.
I agree with all of what you said. I'd even include Spain as a place to look for a manager if people are concerned about the Lionesses not having good enough technique/ball skills. The Spain women's team have a reputation as being one of the best technical sides out there. The knock on them is they can't finish. I suppose the problem plaguing the youth game for boys in England is the same for the women's team, managers and coaches that coach an outdated style of play and not focusing on ball skills?
And as you said, Germany would also be excellent. The coach of my daughter's previous team played in and learned to coach in Germany. He had the team playing the German style of total football, attack as a team and defend as a team. I can only see that being a good thing for about any side.
