Correct. We normally start slowly so 9/9 points kickstarts the season beautifully.
 
The Boys in Blue didn’t give in. They fought to the end. Thank you lads, thank you City, thank you fans. You showed ‘em lads, you showed ‘em all. Especially the bullying oiks from over the Pennines, especially the Specsavers needing stupid so and sos of a media gang. Especially the biased, cheating (allegedly) officials who *ha, ha, ha* keep forgetting that we NEVER give in. NEVER, EVER, EVER UNDERESTIMATE OUR TEAM YOU FOOLS. :-)

THE BEST TEAM IN THE LAND AND ALL THE WORLD. :-)
 
Blades seem to not understand the rules of football the soft bastards

Did find it quite funny (after the fact) how Walker just stayed lying down while they scored their goal, watch it back he’s almost watching it through his fingers hahaha
 
Get used to these tactics, sit back for nil nil or one nil down and give it a go at the end to preserve the goal difference, nearly worked for them but ultimately got what they deserved.

Once we got the goal, i really didn't like our approach. They didn't change at all, still sat in and let us have it yet we completely took our foot off the gas sat on the ball and invited pressure which then led to mistakes instead of going for the second and killing it off and it put us in danger of dropping points.

Midfield 2 of rodri and kovacic were majestic throughout, backline was great, Gvardiol slotted straight in looks brilliant already yet there's plenty more to come from him.

Ominous for would be challengers if we dont have our usual slow start and dropped points to the season. The mental fragility of the rest will work in our favour.

Get through the Fulham game get pep back. Get stones back, doku settled and hopefully another signing or two before the window closes and we'll be in the best shape to a season we've been for a while.
