Could have killed the game off early but impressed how Kyle got his head up and didn't hide
Rodri couldn't kick his own arse never mind trouble their keeper then pulled out that finish.

You'll soon see with Doku. An explosive burst of pace over the first 5-10 metres can tear a hole in the space time continuum, never mind Sheffield Utd's 10-man defence stood on the 18 yard line.

The rest is down to attackers being in the right position, & the delivery. Today we were seriously lacking in both respects.

Jack also needs to practice crossing with his left peg. Cutting back onto his right has become too predictable, so it comes as no surprise our opening goal against a packed low block defence came from his left footed cross.

Haaland could have scored a second header with a slightly more accurate left footed cross from Jack a little later on too.
We had something like 25 shots to zero against after an hour or so, far more than we've had in a lot of matches. We also had a missed pen and two not given. Their keeper also made some great saves. On another day we could have been 4 or 5 up at HT without doing anything different to what we did today.

I generally agree with most of what you say but I think a lot on here over-analyse everything. You can put any 10 players in the box defending and the attacking team will struggle to score, we've seen it time and again. There's nothing wrong, it's just what we have to expect. We can't win 5-0 every week.

Rodri, in my opinion, is City's most important player.
Why ?
Because Pep trusts him to play almost every minute of every game.
Yet, "Rodri couldn't kick his own arse" ?
City have an abundance of talent. Whoever scores is not important, as Harland & Alvarez distract or pull opposing players out of position.
Perhaps, this season, the midfield players, including Rodri, will score a higher % of City goals, as opposing teams try to create a defensive overload in their defensive penalty area ?
