Sheffield United (N) | FA Cup SF | Post-Match Thread

When we played them in the semi a few years back it was horrific. On the main road to the stadium (managed to blag good parking) the rag fans were so horrendous we were convinced they would turn our car over.
They were throwing beer at the police horses. We covered our club colours and drove through.

It was like a fucking zombie apocalypse. Terrifying.
Dont think id take the kids if it was V the scum in all honesty

Nor weird seen the times we’ve been at Wembley the last 12 years. And the opponent. And the way the game went. So one-sided.

It’s also known as reality.

Not saying I approve. Just saying I can understand.

What I do not understand is so many empty places in the Sheffield end.
It wasnt even that. I was sat right next to an entrance and saw 3 blokes strolling up to their seats with a beer and having the stewards explain that you cant take beers to seats at football. I mean, its only been 40 years ..

Great to see so many families at the game yesterday.
This for me is along with our team is where we have made the biggest strides forward.
Got chatting to the guy in front of me. He had no interest in football, supports no one but his lad is City mad so he takes him to as many games as poss.
Its akin to the junior blues movement in the 70s. Our success will safe guard our attendances for years to come

Incredible to think that there are now 12 years olds and under who do not know what poor seasons are.
There must be utd parents throughout the land fearful that their children will become Blues because of our style of play.
Imagine being a kid and watching Haaland,KDB,Jack,BernardoJohn Stones etc and thinking only one team for me from now on.
Haaland and Jack must be up there as the most popular players ever for youngsters in the modern game.

It's definitely a shit hole mate... should play semi finals at a neutral venue unless 2 southern teams
I know what you mean but.
I moan every day about Wembley until the day of the game.Yet in most games I have had a great day out.
Even the underground after the match is well organised if you show a little bit of patience and common sense.

It's disgraceful in this day an age, they need flinging in the back of a police van and locked away, preferably for life.
To be honest the behaviour on our side of the ground before that game wasn’t much better. Any united coach going past was absolutely pelted with cans outside the Greyhound. It would certainly be a moody day against them which is a shame when there are so many kids and families at the games now.

Same clowns will be cheering for him when he puts on an England shirt!
Oh and they had large sections of empty seats!View attachment 76161
The empties on the top shelf were matched by an equal number of empties on our side, but we covered the seats.
The empties on the bottom shelf were not matched on our side. They also had a smaller section of empty seats on the opposite side.

My nephew is 17 and really knows nothing other than us being brilliant
