There isn't any need for the banner to be in Arabic, the guy speaks and reads several languages.
Just put something as whats been said before, "A BIG THANK YOU"

thank you may god be with you. and saying god to them is not an insult ive worked out in afghan and iraq and it is pronounced something like shukran jazeelam.

if its a banner (which by reading thread i think it is) we could have a contest for the winning design, with ric choosing a winner?

Or perhaps a poll so the BM community (who are helping to fund this) could vote for a design.
