sheikh mansour sends in his man

Al Mazrouei is/was also a member of the Abu Dhabi Executive Affairs Authority. Their purpose is the "...development and implementation of strategic social and economic policies..."

Expansion and redevelopment of Bradford & Beswick methinks then.

I hope that rumour about Khaldoon leaving isn't true.

He would be a loss, but the party line could be that City require even more direct attention, something Khaldoon does his best to give, even though he chairs more boards than one man could probably need.

He took the Hughes fall-out very hard indeed. He is an honourable man, someone who had tried to give Hughes everything he needed, so to have his integrity questioned was a bitter pill.

Cook did a great job of playing the usual baffoon, but he got major kudos for it, he was happy to be portrayed as the press usual scapegoat.

I have given him a tough time on here, but he is actually a shrewd cookie and needs to be retained, think he could dovetail quite nicely with someone like Kenyon, who is a little more street wise in football, certainly in Europe,

Brian Marwood won't be sitting too comfortably IMO. He is a glorified football administrator/technical director, someone responsible for the like4s of both Toure and Ade.

Jose don't do technical directors.

Mourinho will not work under

Mourinho's relationship at Chelsea with Kenyon was never a bed of roses..........can they both work together again?

Just found this info on him. Mansour must really trust this guy.

So just a bottle washer, then?

Does anyone else believe that the crown prince himself is involved in ADUG.

It has always been stated Sheikh Mansour was the main man, but this appointment suggests possibly otherwise.

Which is great when you think about it.

Mansour - £30bn

His bro - the keys to the whole fookin safe.

That was the interesting part for me too. The avenues that opens up are endless.

Mourinho and Kenyon had a great relationship at Chelsea. It was Abramovich that didn't get on with Jose.

I`d prefer to ask if Mancini (our manager) and Cook our CEO work well together

Don't think Jose's relationship with anyone, Dan, is a bed of roses!

Was told they get on better than what most think. Apparently, Kenyon was out of country when they let Jose go, he was upset what they did behind his back, because he was a big ally of Jose's.

Suppose if Jose did come in, he would want to work with people he had before.

Can't find a link to this and not sure if anyone else has heard about this.

Mohammed Mubarak Al Mazrouei was appointed to the City board at weekend. He is one of Abu Dhabi's most senior administrators and one of Mansour's closest aides.

He is playing a key role in building up the country's worldwide rep.

Not sure what his role will be for us, but our owner obviously feels there is something which needs seeing to.

A good move, or potentially something more to it?

Great to have all this expertise at our disposal.

Is he the creative mid, we're after?

That ties in quite nicely with the thread I started about a headsup I received a short while ago

<a class="postlink-local" href="http://www.bluemoon-mcfc.co.uk/forum/viewtopic.php?f=1&t=163912&hilit=+khaldoon" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;">viewtopic.php?f=1&t=163912&hilit=+khaldoon</a>

Perhaps it was close to the truth?
