So the reason we won the League was Utd's Injuries!!

Interesting that it shows Arsenal staff are not as bad as you would think from all the press coverage about their injuries.

One key point from this is how the team responds mentally to injures the managers who play them up provide a cast iron guarantee of null responsibility if the team lose as its all down to X not being available its lets players off the hook .

The figures do indicate its more to do with care and skill, we clearly look after our players and they don't engage in dodgy tackles that are just as likely to take them out or make them return targets later in the season

So even a neutral would conclude we are just a better club and no doubt as booby Manc would say we can improve

It's not saying that. Its simply a table compiled from the number of injuries and a bit of an analysis of it. No problem with it whatsoever me, it's just a factual piece.

Agreed.

Maybe it was down to better squad rotation and training methods. As a result less injuries. Simples!

And maybe it had nothing to do with that.

Do you think we would have won the league if Vinnie was injured for the length of time time that Vidic has been. A yes or no will suffice.

they knew vidic was out for the season early doors, had that been vinny we'd have bought again in january. they couldn't. we win :)

Jesus. I ask a simple question...

I see. Maybe we should give the title back then?

I just had an inkling that before the Euros even started it would be clear we won the title by default.

Utter bollox.

Had Tevez played his golf at Heaton Park and not Buenos Aires we'd have had it in the bag long before the final day, with MANUre having or not having Vidic.

Vidic was probably the only significant player missing, anyway, thats one back for COLIN BELL. There is Glyn Pardoe to pay for yet

The extra points gifted to them by officials far outweighs the loss of Vidic. Some very strange decisions for both of us, most in thier favour and ours against us after the 6-1 win.
If a computer reffered each game fairly, there would be 10 points between us and them

Ritchie De Laet
Darron Gibson
Federico Macheda

Why do they count on the list? Gibson left, De Laet was out on loan and Macheda was never played and went out on loan. Utd seriously need to employ some new physios etc. that many injuries can't just be bad luck.

I suppose Vidic missing was the reason they didn't win the CL. Perhaps they should have a word with Chelsea.

The following United players each had one or more ‘significant’ injuries that kept them out for at least 14 days each time: Anderson, Dimitar Berbatov, Tom Cleverley, Ritchie De Laet, Jonny Evans, Fabio, Rio Ferdinand, Darren Fletcher, Darron Gibson, Ryan Giggs, Javier Hernandez, Phil Jones, Anders Lindegaard, Federico Macheda, Nani, Michael Owen, Rafael, Wayne Rooney, Chris Smalling, Antonio Valencia, Nemanja Vidic, Danny Welbeck, Ashley Young

Fuck me lets be honest only Camel gob, Fletcher, Giggs, Shrek,, Valencia Vidic, Nani and Tom Daley would be classed as starters at the swamp....the rest are squad players at best.....and out of that lot how many would even get in our squad never mind the team
