Seems clear and dry to me they shot an unarmed someone (Again) because the officer panicked. Too many people being shot by our police services, it seems to be the got-to solution. Anyway, just my pov. Sad event though and I hope the officer wasnt just a shit, and that there was a real reason to shoot this kid but I'm struggling to see how or why.

Give traffic officers guns and relax the rules on deployment and it should come as no surprise when young men - usually black or brown skinned get shot and killed. Whats that other country called where it happens a lot? Big place. About 3k miles away....... its on the tip of my tongue.....

This is why so many Police officers in the UK do not want to be routinely armed many of whom say they would quit the force if it was brought in

How about we go with the vast majority of them will be born in France, making them as French as any white Frenchman.
If rioting to protest against the killing of innocent people by armed law enforcement is your definition racist then they must be being racist.
Police anywhere should not be condoned for killing innocent people regardless of colour or heritage in any country.
Have you seen the video on the first page of this thread?
Can you justify in any way the actions of that policeman?
Would you be happy for your son or brother to be gunned down in that way?

That is sort of where I'm coming from. The police should not have powers to shoot people just because they drive away. That affects all of us.
