Should City Offer Subsidised Away Travel?

They could put a special train on for us, in fact, if Mansour can buy a City plane, he can buy the fans a City train!

I like the sound of that.

The Sheikh Mansour Special to Euston. :-)

It better have heaters in it though, and don't forget board games. Nowt like a game of monopoly on the way to the match. How I miss the 1970's!!

It's not the best travelling with official coaches, no drinking on the coaches and the relatively late arrival at the ground which makes it difficult to go to a pub beforehand, resulting in you being forced to have a few pints of piss from inside the ground. I would rather pay the £25-30 and enjoy the whole day and have a piss up, would much rather cheaper tickets. It's still a nice gesture though and would be nice to only have to pay £10 instead of the £28 they want for Cardiff if i was travelling with the official coaches.

I appreciate people like a scoop on the train or coach when they travel away. However, would you go without for 2 hours on the train, or 4 hours on the coach, if you where given the opportunity to travel for £10 via the club?

no, and not just because of the lack of beer. I don't particularly like what football has become, whiter than white, non atmospheric diluted crowds, plastic bag carrying twerps, people who watch the game with their camera phone permanently in their hand so I'd rather stick with the same people that are like me which is lads brought up in the nasty old 70's and 80's world of football. I really don't want to be sat on a coach with a load of twerps that complain when you sing a song that has a swear word in it and I don't think they want to be on the same coach as me and mine either.

Of course they shouldn't.
There really are some ungrateful cunts on here sometimes.
As if Sheikh Mansour has done fuck all for the club already, other than plough in shitloads of money he didn't have to and win us the Premiership.
Either save up, or watch the games on Sky, because at least you have that fucking option nowadays, which you didn't when some of us had to take a half day off work for a midweek away fixture and drive halfway across the country to see us beaten by fucking Colchester or some other dross when we were truly shit.

Can they pay for my home game travel it cost me over £100 for a home game. Maybe my rent on the house also my energy bills are going up along with the water rates and my boiler is going to pack up. I dont want much but Sky just asked for an extra £2 a month and im starting to not have enough spare cash for my coke habit

Chelsea need this to shift their tickets.... City don't so will not happen....

Chelsea have been doing this for the past few years....

Think the last free travel city put on was for that uefa cup game at Barnsley..

TBF Chelsea always take a good away following.

They certainly fill OT every time, etc.

Chelsea have been doing this for the past few years.... ?

Regardless if City sell their away allocations, which certainly hasn't always been the case, it would be another great gesture by the club., even if it was only for games in London and South Wales.

Chelsea have struggled to sell tickets for most games they play up north. Especially against United last year when there were a good thousand or so empty seats in the Chelsea away end. A bit shocking considering they were reigning European champions at the time.

Chelsea have always been notoriously fickle.
They averaged about 12,000 under Mad Ken Bates in the bad old days before Roman pitched up with his roubles.
Then they suddenly found 20,000 lifelong fans almost overnight.
Bunch of utter arsewipes, like most cockneys.

You sure mate I remember them being half decent even before Roman came and having full houses.
Just checked you kind of right
