Should Dzeko start on Sunday?

Fyk...I would not want to play for the Blues. Really? Everyone's forgetting that this big lad did not only score 4 in one game (how many other Blues have done that in HISTORY?) but that he also scored in each of the 2 prem games before that, ....against United before that....and against Inter even before the United game.

The man has a couple of bad games and he gets it like this? Shit...Dzeko...get the fuck out of there as soon as possible buddy.

...but then again; if Balo has a bad game on Sunday I would love to read about his "great form". Some people have the the memory of a gold fish (6 seconds).

Critize his form, but the way some on here are attacking him....really? A lot of people seemed to have waited for their chance to do just this. And if he is what you call a "confidence" player, wouldn't this be the perfect fucking time to play him?[/quote]

No definately not, he looks lost and has been ineffective for the last 3/4 games. By ineffective i dont just mean not scoring, i mean totally useless. His touch and link up play just dont match those around him right now, he isnt the only one either. Aguero is the main man and scoring and Balotelli is on form, why would you start a nervous wreck ahead of those 2?

...he certainly was ineffective in some of the last 3, 4 games; he played 2 minutes in one, and zero minutes in another. Was subbed off after 55 minutes in Munich despite being one of the "better" players on the field that day (by better I mean he didn't absolutely suck balls on the pitch like 8/10 of the others).

So yes...I guess you can say he was a bit "ineffective".

At that rate you would have to place Nasri in the youth team, no?

dzeko sucks.
vs france pjanic played him though to a 1 on 1 with the keeper, by the time dzeko caught up to the ball the centre back were already on him, so he had to take an early shot, he used his left foot and hit it 5 feet wide and 5 feet high.
next he got a pass from the wing, and he tried to shoot first touch, guess what he did, he toe poked it in the direction it came from lmao. dzeko is a complete donkey and extremely overrated, he is a average player who every once in a while scores a few decent long range goals, he found success in wolfsburg because of the genius misimovic.

btw im bosnian.
i remember last season after dzekos first couple bad matches, manicini was saying how dzeko was still 1 of the best strikers in europe, i bet you mancini never will or even think like that again.

I think he did it ok.. not bedst peformence but he did it well..
If u se at Kun then u see that attackers have hard vs Villa..
And dzeko was the right place x2 so it culd be him who scored..
Come again?

hahaha

i can think of a thousand embarassing dzeko moments, one of the worst was in a match vs united where dzeko was outside the box attempting to dribble vidic, ( he wasnt dribbling he was just taking these tiny touches), vidic just comes in and pokes it away without trying.
one of the most embarrassing things i have ever seen on a tv. i honestly think the bosnian second striker Ibisevic is much better than him., just that hes a little injury prone

He would have been the hero had Aguero not snaffled that chance. Dzeko was right next to him and was just sliding in to put it in.

I bet he would have missed it

you're a disgrace to your nation and to your club; go kill yourself because nobody will miss you.

Undecided, Because I am not sure if Mancini will play with 2 strikers or just 1 !

Or you know what I hope Mancini gives him the first 55 minutes, if he is not doing well ( like all his previous games after Spurs) take him off for Mario.

A "no" from me as per current performances.
But if Mancini is going to trust Dzeko to be in form for future matches, I think he would need to analyze what makes Dzeko tick, and maybe watch the Bosnia matches, where he is still in sublime form, to find out the best formation and placement of crosses that can help Dzeko to score goals. Dzeko is obviously a very good player, we just need to find a way to make sure he is consistent.
