Wow I know it’s a bank holiday but you’d think an fa cup final against the rags as a starter, main course of a champions league final, and the potential for a treble winners parade as desert, might keep idle minds busy for a few weeks at least.
Some of the players may have fallen short in the estimations of some, and one or two maybe need moving along such as Cancelo, some may even want to leave like Laporte & Bernardo, and we may even allow for some of the young uns to move on for decent fees, but we very rarely move players along a season after signing them.
It’s our duty as fans to support these players through their first 18 months at the club, Pep has elevated this team to an even higher level, if you’re a newish player it will feel like the goal posts have been moved, give them time!

Gomez, Philips and Cancelo should all be fired out of a cannon and collectively erased from history.
Laporte should move on for the sake of his own career. He’s too good to warm our bench and I’ll wish him nothing but the best.
Palmer should go out on loan and probably sold next summer for a tidy profit.
Gundo and Bernardo should have their passports confiscated and locked up in a cellar somewhere until the transfer window closes.
Keep Mahrez for another season or two. When he turns it on he’s unstoppable and Is good competition to keep the other forwards on their toes, especially Foden.

The Sun reporting Palmer to Brighton on loan. Obvious caveat is it’s The Sun, so probably a lie.
