Should we be looking at new kit deal?- new update pg34 Chelsea NIKE DEAL

Can I just add.

Does anyone not think our owners and the People running the club have not put clauses into our kit deal, and/or put pressure on Nike to give us a better kit deal? Kit deal's can be renegotiated during their contractual period. With Pep coming, staying for at least 3 years, all the trophies, media coverage, and exposure that will bring to the club and the kit manufacturer, I think and know our owners and Nike know the true worth of a renegoiated and new kit deal. And as per, City never announce any deal to the media.

Yes. Nike could make give us the most expensive deal ever and I'd still turn it down. The money isn't the problem. It's the fact that they piss about with our colours and blatantly ignore our identity. They say we don't sell shirts so don't deserve big money...well give us a nice kit that people will want to buy and we might sell some?

Looking at this old article from mark ogden, it looks like we may have already tried to re negotiate our current deal. But looks like these discussions have come to no fruition. And this may be the source of frustration for Sorriano as some have eluded earlier in the thread. And subsequently Nike have gone out and signed a massive deal with Barca and Chelsea.

The question then is where do we go.....it may surely have to be from the following pot of suppliers. (Puma, Under Armour, New Balance, Uniqlo) because the big two have invested already and nailed their colours to the mast!

My choice would be PUMA. As they do not have a 'title winning' team in their portfolio from one of the big leagues.

walked into that one didn't i.
Point taken, what I should have said was 'BIG TEAM' that is year on year out fighting for the title. I wonder if Puma, suddnely drop a big bomb and sign Leicester to a bigger deal that Arsenal....no way it ain't happening.

That 'little' team Leicester outsold us on shirts last season!
