2) Martinez
3) Thiago Silva

Unless a striker leaves, i'd replace them. Apart from that these 3 would be ideal.

Not having a great game, really poor in the first half but so was the whole Bilbao team. They've stepped it up a bit second half but Muniain has been the standout player. Llorente was playing well before being subbed off. 10 minutes left and Barca aren't even trying anymore, won it at a canter.

Why would we get silva if we buy martinez, he can play cb aswell as cm so there is really no need to buy both. If we do decide to buy silva or a cb of his quality then I would be tempted by signing modric as I really don't think we need another defensive minded midfielder like martinez although tbh i have not watched him enough to see how good he may really be.

My dream signings -
1) Hazzard/Bale
2) Modric/Aquilani/Martinez
3)Silva/Martinez

And a striker van persie/Falcoa if one of our present ones leaves

Because silva is an upgrade on Lescott and Javi is an upgrade on De Jong. We are at the stage in the project where we really are talking about buying world class players to take the place of very good players.

Me too...we don't need to step down in quality. Get rid of the guy that put himself before the club and get someone as good....or better.

We have the best players, but I am not sure we have the depth that would allow us to compete in Cups and the League.

If a star player like Bale becomes available, I hope we go for them, otherwise I'd go for young players like Hoillet who would be prepared to fight for a place in the squad.

A little bit uncomfortable with players like Hazard, who I don't know that much about. If we sign him, he'll expect to start, and so will Silva, Nasri etc. As it is, we're struggling to give players like Dzeko and Milner games.

An ideal squad is one with about 15 star players, and 10 young players. We have 20 star players, but not many young players. We need to flesh the squad out, but we can't do that by adding stars to it as they just aren't going to plat each week.

Our targets will realise that too
