Ok lets play a game you can sign one player, any player only catch is it has to be a realistic signing. So no need to say "Lionel Messi" when we all know damn well Barca are not going to let him leave and he would not leave. Once you have your player please list.

1. Reasons why you want him at the club and in the team?
2. Who you would drop from the first team or is he going to be a bench utility player?
3. Which squad player you would sell off to create space for said purchase and why?

LETS GO!!!

1. We need some more speed on the wings. My chioce would be Jesus Navas from Sevilla 'cos he's more of a provider than anyone we've got, he doesnt score that often but we could do with the assists.

2. I'd drop Milner or SWP for him.

3. Viera, waste of space.

1. Because he's superb and would really take our team to the next level. Incredibly hard working, brilliant footballing brain, always plays with heart, pure winner. Excellent both at holding and attacking.
2. I'd drop Barry and get him to play next to NDJ as our two holding players in the preferred 4-2-3-1. He'd be like a mix of Barry and Milner on steroids - just better in ever sense. It would induce multi-orgasms amongst City fans ;)
3. Jo, Bellamy, RSC and move Vieira into a coaching role.

get pirlo in on a free, got great vision for centre mid and can tackle. use the money that we didn't spend on him and then buy rodwell. good, young english midfielder who would be training with pirlo and vieira every day, can't think of a better pair of players to learn from in that position.
no one specifically to leave the first team but rotate it a bit more with yaya moved further forward.
vieira out of the squad but kept on in a coaching role at all cost.
an english player with the passing of pirlo and the tackling and tenacity of vieira who would be here for years.
that's just an idea and i know some people aren't keen on pirlo but i think he has a lot to offer while rodwell looks like he's a class act while i'm sure i heard everton have no money.

1) He's young, FAST, skilled, cheap (12.5m) and we all know buying from Hamburg is a good thing

2) He would take Milners wing role as well as being cover for AJ. Squad player with plenty of game time.

* Milner will take Barry's role, and Barry will get the the Vieira role.

I can see why people want another creative midfielder, but Milner and M.Johnson instead of Barry could do wonders. And I could see Assulin would be Silva cover but we would change formation instead of giving him the start until he can prove him self in "easier" games

I understand that he can be greedy sometimes, but right now he is tied for 5th in the golden shoe standings.. you dont let players like that go if you want to be worldbeaters.
