Vicar in a tutu, Salzburg is an unusual city and very compact, beautiful old buildings and friendly people!!

I was on Spike's trip and it was great, good company, excellent weather and all in all a brilliant trip. We have just arrived home.

I went on the day trip and had a cracking time.Typical european trip really.Thought Salzburg was ok but nothing special as a City, pleasent enough though.Spent most of the day in Mozart Square with most other blues, even Noel Gallagher and Mike Pickering made an appearence. All in all a great day out.

Trip was ok, always going to be just a drinking trip this one, usual crap irish bars everyone seems to flock to, mozart square was the best of a small choice.
Seen noel and all his cling on trying to climb up his arsehole "no pic no pics" FFS if he didn't want attention why walk in to a bar full of city lads??? Can't stand the little stump myself but should understand if it was not for the people wanting to take his pic he would be nothing!

Nice tidy ground and easy result without playing that well

Poznan will be twice this trip for a fact but still a good one to get in

2.30 am!!! Bollocks you were in bed by midnight , there was only one of us who saw the otherside of half two

Did anyone other than Liverpool play this week???? - the media frenzy over them winning a game was unbelivable. Joe Cole is now the new Messi! if you listen to the beeb - Heavens sake!

Went on Spikes trip with four other lads and we had a belting time. Thought Salzburg was quality place. Before the game we found a beer house full of locals scoffing and drinking.
Ian Cheeseman came by..."oyy cheesey" shouts one of the lads and he came over and sat with us for half an hour. He certainly knows his stuff on City ..alright fella.

The match is a blur. Back into salzburg to those paddy bars. Have to say that blues in them were absolute quality and the locals joined in and seemed to enjoy the songs.

Two incidents stick out...200 blues belting out delilah...very confusing at the time, and does anyone remember the heavy metal austrian bloke, all denim and long hair...a well know welsh blue reached across and snatched his hair off his head and ran off with his whig...please some one tell me this happened!
Got back to the hotel and only place we could find serving was the Tempel Sauna round the corner( alikely story you may say)...so like a shower of fuckwits we gave it a whirl..spent two hours getting even more pissed with a load of romanian hookers...watching porn films then the bar bill arrived and things rapidly went pear shaped and they locked us in...coppers arrived and I had to drop the fuckers 30euros which the sergeant put in his top pocket and secured our release. The door re opened behind us and the madam shouts "and take your fucking flag with you". An inglorious end to a quality day!!

Got back about an hour ago.

Fucking incredible.

Got to Salzburg on Wednesday. In the Shamrock bar for 5 in the afternoon, left at 1 as I'd only brought 40 euros with me (/I was barely able to stand).

Quite a lot of blues in there, had a guy playing the acoustic singing Blue Moon every 20 mins. Lovely American girl in there was lucky enough to get a scarf off me, and we managed to talk her into coming to the match tomorrow!

Thursday.

Saw Sean Rileys St. Georges Cross flag by the river tied to a bridge, so me and my associate decided to see what the crack was. Got my flags up and sat out there chatting to some blues. Then back to Shamrock. As the time got closer to kick off more and more blues appeared and I got more pissed (sneaking that bottle of Jagermeister in was a great decision). Quite a lot of photos were taken outside as the many blues stood on the street corner drinking. There is a fantastic photo on felix's phone of the bar singing Hey Jude - scall is in a state of euphoria!

Bus to the ground was absolutely rocking. Got off with a bit of a walk and we started chatting to these Americans (loads of Aussies and Americans in Salzburg - all students) so we 'Love Story' by Taylor Swift to them, as we thought it may allow us to be 'in there' later.

Got in the ground, more City there then I thought there would be. Some silly boys managed to get themselves on the raised stage bit at the front. Apparently they were dancing round and singing songs all game. --- Apologies to anyone who's view was obstructed by us lot!

Back to Shamrock after - the only way I can describe it was like Mary D's at its rowdiest but for 5 hours. City songs all night, everyone was fucking hammered. Just fantastic.

A load of clowns who post on here were in a terrible way - you know who you are!

If anyones got any pictures, please put them up - I want to feel ashamed!

Sounds good to me, where the hills alive with the sound s of bluemoon, your the one normally posting pictures, no camera this time ?

Broke the screen last year at Spurs whilst it was in my pocket.

There's a classy pic of me from facebook

A brilliant trip, yet again. Just absolutely crazy.

Went back to Munich yesterday, stopped at the Hofbräuhaus for a couple of steins and barely remember much else after that. Did some banging of the steins to the tune of "dud dud duhhh Mario Ballotelli" and within 20 seconds, the whole of the Hofbräuhaus was banging their steins along with us!
