would be ideal to give him maybe half an hour vs Swansea and then back in top form vs bayern

Some welcome good news perhaps? (Not sure how reliable the source is)
<a class="postlink" href="http://www.sportinastorm.com/Premier-League/Manchester-City/Silva-lining-for-City/X1Y47Z1839010" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;">http://www.sportinastorm.com/Premier-Le ... 47Z1839010</a>

David Silva will hand his struggling Manchester City team-mates a huge boost by returning to action after the international break. The Spain midfielder sustained a knee injury in the Capital One Cup loss to Newcastle United and has missed the last three games. But the City playmaker is now off crutches and has been given the green light to resume light training this week. Silva has been one of this season's few bright spots for boss Manuel Pellegrini, who is hopeful his man will now be able to return for the must-win Champions League clash against Bayern Munich on November 25 at the Etihad.

Wonderful news. But this is quite sad that we rely so heavily on 1 player. With club like Man City and its resources, that is unacceptable IMO.

To be fair we say he same when kompany, yaya and aguero are out too.

Joe, Zab, kompany, silva, aguero are all key players and the team is worse off without them when they don't play.
