Silva V Berkovic V Ali B V Kinky?

As you can probably guess I'm a huge fan of Berkovic. On his day he was absolutely different class. Anyone remember the away derby at the swamp when he completely bossed the midfield? He was on a different level that day to everyone else on the pitch. Could take people on with skill and had that natural instinct for the killer pass that you can't teach. Plus that volley against Ipshit is one of my all time favourite City goals, exceptional technique.

In terms of the level they performed at for City I'd say

1) Silva
2) Berkovic
3) Benarbia
4) Kinkladze

Love watching all 4 of them tbh

Comparing Silva and Kinkladze is like comparing Iniesta and Messi. Different players.

Kinkladze in his prime was as exciting to watch as Lionel Messi. And as good a dribbler. In fact, Kinkladze had better vision than Messi.

Silva, done it at the top level consistently

Berkovic, Player of the season in our last at Maine Road

Kinkladze, shining hope in a poor side, inconsistent at the top level

Ali B, great in the Championship not as good in the Prem

I'm 32 so I have seen all 4 of the players in question and I think they are all top class players......but from different times in football, I think kinky in the way football is now would be in the same class as messi, I just watched the barca v Madrid and some of best defenders in the world are scared of touching him as now football seems to of became a non contact sport.I watched kinky get kicked to f***ed and go quite. If he was in our team now that would never happen........

So for me it's Kinky!!! Love him

it's virtually impossible to choose, they were all magnificent players for us (and of course we still have Silva in the team)

I'd have Ali B in his prime in a heartbeat, and Berko was imperious at his best, and what can you say about Kinkladze that hasn't already been said - other than it's my biggest regret as a supporter than I never got to see him play in the flesh because I was out of the country for the seasons he was with us.

so... I can't decide.

Ali B. silk and steel.

Used to play as well in away matches as he did when the home crowd was behind him. his peformance at sheff wed (6-2) was one of the best i,ve seen by a city player.

Remember stockport trying to kick lumps out of him -Goater got sent off for handball-and ali never stopped demanding the ball and taking the kicks. a true warrior. his debut at home to brum was unreal. no-one had heard of him,he stepped off the plane 3 hours before kick-off ,didn,t know any of his team mates, and preceded to run the game...anyone at maine rd that day will know what i mean.

Fantastic player.knew where the goal was too-somthing silva needs to improve on.
