I watch quite a lot of Spanish football, so I knew he'd be a great signing. But I didn't for a moment think that he'd become so crucial so quickly for City. Tevez and Silva together, pure quality, and guaranteed to get us a LOT of goals this season.

Not getting too carried away yet but Silva is that touch of magic we need. Mancini seems to like to grind away for an hour and tire a team out before going for the kill, not pretty to watch but with the right impact players coming on it's very effective.
I'd like to see a more attack minded midfield with Silva in the middle.

You know the big difference between City now and a couple of seasons ago is that we have such a fantastic subs bench and we are able to introduce a genious like David Silva and then being able to watch him perform like he did today. For me that goal was one of the greatest moments this season. He is an alsolutely awesome player.
