Singing End - Would You Relocate?

I'm sat in 107. I love the view of the pitch, but I'd definitely consider relocating. No one sings around me and I feel pretty embarrassed when I join in with songs going in other parts of the stadium.

Hats off to Dortmund last night. Superb fans, quality team.

I'd relocate in a flash if something like this came about, I think we need it massively but whether anything will be done about it is a completely different question altogether!

Yes I would relocate if something like this arose.

Would it not be better just to swap the away end to the other side of the South Stand and so the 'Kippax' and the people in 116, 117 etc. are altogether though?

The Dortmund fans were absolutely amazing last night and they did sing to an empty stadium in English 'You're shit and you know you are' and they sang it again during the game if I remember right. When they sang 'You only sing when your winning' it just sounded like it could of been an English teams fans singing it with the accent they had.

I'd love to get involved in something like this but the police wouldn't let it happen. They'd say it encourages violence and some of the things brought into the stadium could be used as weapons. None of it would be true but they'd be shit scared of it and would do anything to stop it, probably using "safety grounds" as the excuse

No way Jose!! Organised chanting/singing whatever you like to call it is not the way.

Ok sometimes the atmosphere is not the best and last night's was one of the worst but treating a football match like an American Cheer leaders convention is not the answer.

I sing in my section and sometimes I am the only one but I don't care, sometimes it encourages others to sing.

If we had the orchestrated section like Dortmund had last night I would not be going to matches. How could the ones who wanted to watch FOOTBALL, which is surely the reason to go to the match, get to see anything in that melee?

Yes they sang loudly but so did we at Fulham last week and at most other matches. Where was the Ya Ya song last night? In our section we used one of the Dortmund chants/songs to chant for our Captain, Vincent Kompany!! Many 'tunes' at matches are the same we just all use different words so outshout/outchat them with our own words.

Just MHO

Too many fans are more bothered with having "banter" with the away fans. They just wouldn't move.

100% would move, I stand in the South Stand have done for years but its getting worse. May as well sit in level 2 silent and have a good view.

Should put it where the family stand is, relocate family stand to a 3rd tier and any south standees that don't want to move don't? I sit in the CB level 3 but would deffinately move to these blocks, so I reckon the majority of fans for this section would come from east and CB stands.

I think this would be a class atmosphere because you would have the south stand banter and you would also have ultras at the other end which encourages the stands inbetween to join in, or even banter amongst ourselves! Marsielle do this at thier ground and it looks amazing!

No reason why we couldnt get drums, anyone who doesnt like it, don't sit there?

Really good idea, I would deffinately invest my time into it! We should contact MCFC about potentially organising an experiment for it in a CL game v Ajax or RM that hasn't come on sale, or just organise it amongst ourselves?

We could set up a Facebook page an get it done?

My only dispute to the idea is let's not call ourselves ultras! We will get ripped on by everyone! Maybe call ourselves MCFC fans (fanatic) section? Or anything a bit less cringeworthy haha!

Dont think we have enough of these likeminded fans to make it happen.

All sounds like a good idea bar megaphone and drum. Couldnt handle either of those
