Sittting with away fans at an away match - would you?

was in the stretford end right behind brightwells screamer. got away with that. In the holt end when we won 5-1 and white got 4.
so good experiences - but a few other just generally nervy. Its easy not to go up if city score, but its impossible to celebrate if they do and thats when you get sussed

Charlton a couple of times. I got given a couple of tickets and took my Daughter. we were right next to the City end both times and it wasn't any bother. Also been to Fulham and also no worries (it did help that we drew) and once back in the 70's at Arsenal when Rodney bowed to the arse fans - magic moment :-)

Me and my dad will be sitting with the home fans at Anfield in a couple of weeks. We've done it twice before and had no bother, but they won 1-0 on both occasions so we didn't have much to shout about anyway.

We've also sat with the home fans at The Swamp a couple of times. The first time was when we drew 1-1 and Goater scored the equaliser. My grandad couldn't contain himself and jumped up after the disallowed goal. Thankfully we were sat in the posh seats so there wasn't really any bother.

The second time we were sat in the Stretford End surrounded by nutters. They sussed us out pretty sharpish so we went and watched the rest of the match on the TV's on the concourse. I don't think I'd ever do it at OT again.

Me and my mate in Santander, when Big Phil scored we were the only ones standing and cheering, screaming. They didnt mind as they thought they were through.

I've been in the home ends on numerous occasions down the years ...... Coventry , Tottenham , Leicester , Arsenal , Aston Villa , Wolves , Sheffield United , Old Trafford , to name but a few ...... never really had much trouble at any of them , although Wolves was a bit scary at one time.

Been in the home sections of Oldham, Stockport, Swamp, Sheff United, Leicester, Wigan, Bristol Rovers.

Stockport was the worst. I think we drew 2-2 and Pollock scored. I jumped up in the Cheadle End and got smashed.

Sheff United was dodgy. We was close to getting sussed at half time and a bloke asked me where were from, for some reason we just said Glossop and he said no more but i can assure you there were some naughty looking people in there.

Leicester at Filbert Street was also bad. I was at the top of stand behind the goal where all there nutters were. Wanchope scored and my natural reaction was to just jump, a few of there fans were looking for city but because they were below me they never seen me.

I managed to get in against United when we had no fans there.

done it at swamp twice, Liverpool, wigan, burnley, everton - no probs - first time at swamp was interesting tho - about 30 of us stood in Stretford end and police made a nice circle around us to save us from the neanderthal rags

Only ticket I could get was sitting in the east stand at the old highbury. It the Pires/Henry penalty fiasco. Bloke who sold it to me sat next to me and I never told him I was a City fan. Kept chatting to me all the game. In the end i gave him a false home number because he wanted a regular buyer for his spare season ticket for the rest of the season. I was very uncomfortable with the whole situation should've owned up but I let it go too long.

Sat with the home fans loads of times, no one fucks with me. I was outed as a blue at the swamp when I was like 12 or something, fuck the cunts. I'm city til I die.

Ps - I'm a soft twat too.

I have no problem getting in to see a match with the opposing supporters - if that's what I have to do to get in.

Once at Crewe it was a sell-out, but I was with my Turkish girlfriend who I spent three-and-a-half years with in Istanbul. I told their ticket office that I really wanted to show her a British game, and they obliged by letting us in to sit on the touchline with their disabled supporters. We were right next to the tunnel and my girlfriend got a big kick out of seeing the players so close (she is a mad-keen Galatasaray fan).

I was at Piccadilly once and managed to end up in the away supporters busses as we were herded by police and escorted to the ground. I stuffed my City scarf under my jacket, and kept low until I was able to peel away from the group and get to my usual season ticket seat at Maine Road.

It's always more fun being with City fans, but if your objective is to get into a game, you just have to do whatever it takes.
