skiing

I went once in 2000 to somewhere in Spain in the mountains. Snowboarding actually. I went to the top of the worlds biggest hill imagining myself surfing down. Sat down to put my board on and it fell off down the hill nearly killing several people in the process. I shuffeled down the hill on my arse which took about 3 hours and then got pissed. Never done it since and don't fancy it. You wouldn't go sledging all day would you?? 3 or 4 days up and down a hill. No thanks.

Have never skied, and never had any interest in doing so. Since moving to Innsbruck earlier this year, it's all I bloody hear about.

"You can't live in Innsbruck and not go skiing!"

Once more.....just one more person says it...

are you off your trolley?

Day 7 for this season, blew work off this afternoon as it was sunny and my birthday. Been about a week since the last snow, so just stuck to high speed groomers. There must have been at least twenty other people skiing the 2000 acres, so stressful makes you want to drink beer all night

Why? Because I'm not interested in doing what everyone else does? Because I don't blindly follow the other 'sheep'?

but you can't live in Innsbruck and not go skiing

I asked for that, didn't I?

My grandad was extremely ill a few years ago and he heard that skiing could be quite therapeutic.

He gave it a try but went downhill very quickly.

you have an opportunity right there on your doorstep. take it before it passes you by. I am getting on now and will ski and ski until I can do no more. February will then become a time for me to pop over to the canaries for some sun. now that is what the sheep do.
