I don't want him because he is not in the same class as Vinnie and I don't think he is as good as Lescott either. So whats the point?

Ah but the point is if either/both are injured and suspended is he better than Toure K or Savic so I have to say yes.

He is a dirty fucker, but a good defender and he'd slip in and partner Vinnie or Joleon if one was out injured/suspended.

2. Tevez fucking off
3. Lack of quality back up at centre half
4. Lack of wingers in the squad

thirded. Savic is nowhere near good enough at this stage to fill any gaps. Looked like scoring every time he went near the ball last season - not good for a centre half!
