Sky sports breaking news - Flamini to join city on loan!

His main position is defensive mid but he has had alot of experience in lef/right defence, could be useful.

To be honest i dont think Mancini has been given the money to make big signings, his contract is only 6months "with a view to extend"

I think he'll get money in the summer.

I admired him while he was at Arsenal - technically a good player, great passer of the ball, and he has a good strike on him too.

He's a good player and Arsenal were weaker as a result of his departure.

If it's true then Barry's starting berth will come into doubt, which it should be, considering by and large he has been a disappointment since his move from Villa.

Would be a good signing IMO.

another defensive player, how many holding mids does a team need.

call me cynical, but we really are heading down the italian route of trying to shut the back door, which is good, but with the cost of watching football i want to be entertained, i do hope we are not going to be serie a in the premier league, and aim for 1-0 wins and chess football.

i know hughes made errors, but most of the games were very very entertaining.

tin hat on.

You will be entertained when we win the League and the Champions League. Shut it!

with respect pal, i spend 1000's watching city, everywhere, if i place entertainment and enjoyment above wins that are ground out that is my right.

now i never dig people out who don't go, but your ignorant response makes me want to.

just engage your brain.

wow, i was just kiddin round. You need to relax and not get so mad on an internet forum :(

He's not just a destroyer like NDJ, Flamini has far more to his game than that.
Second only to Fabregas in the passing stats whilst at the Gooners.
Good signing if true

Well, this one's a bit out of left field. A loan deal for a player of Flamini's quality and experience can't do us much harm at all.

Bit concerned about the apparent short termism about the manager, though having said that it is January and available quality is thin on the ground.
