Stones was excellent on the ball, better than the midfield & mostly ok at defending but not asked any questions. All in all, the best player on the pitch but he of course isn't allowed to be named that officially.

They held us and beat Russia in the Euro's. They beat Germany 3-1 in a friendly before that and won 8 out of 10 games in there qualifying group including Ukraine and Switzerland, there ranked 28th in the world.

So yes totally agree they are no world beaters and we are expected to win - but comfortably no. It's like say Man City going away to a Stoke or a West Brom. Man City should win but it won't be easy, the opposition will sit deep, go in hard and make life difficult. Plus the fact your away and in front of hostile crowd.
 
Rooney "can play where he wants." May as well make him player-manager and save a few million a year on paying someone else.

They were hopeless. Absolutely hopeless.

Robbie Mak, one of their main attacking players, is from City's youth team. He wouldn't get in City's youth team now ability wise at 25. He's fast & works hard but as a footballer, he hasn't got the brains or pass & move skills, to contribute.

Rather like Henderson etc.

People such as yourself, packaging this fucking shite as acceptable, from a country of 54 million whose main sport is football, are the problem. It's SHITE. It's unacceptable. But we have been dumbed down by thes cunts, into believing it is the best we can do.

It allows these fucking wankers to ride along on the gravy train. They are in coaching, in management, in the FA, in our fucking teams. Stealing a fucking living & selling us shit as gold. We have legislation to make us pick them, because otherwise they can't get a fucking game, because we can pick up players from Botswana who are better, for fuck all. Why ? Because they have been coached by Fat Sam's Army since they could walk.

The fucking lot of them & their mates in the media, need dropping in the fucking sea, somewhere near the North Pole.

FS now admitting Fat Boy does whatever he wants! 'I can't tell him where to play!' Yes you can you are the boss. Once again player egos come before the team - when will we ever learn.
