Smallest City Away Support you've ever been in

Division 1 League Game v Everton at Goodison Park around 60 - 62. Couldn't see or hear a single City fan. Decided to walk all round the terracing (you could in those days) eventually spotting a light blue scarf. "The only City fan iv'e seen here" I said. Reply: I'm an Everton fan, HAY LADS THERE'S A MANC HERE". Obviously an over washed Everton scarf! I vanished into the crowd, fast and still didn't see or hear a City fan all night. Was I the only one??? Can anyone else remember that night? We played Everton off the pitch for 15 minutes then were battered for the other 75 and lost the game.

The smallest away derby support was in 1992 , they were developing old trafford and there was a 35,000 plus capacity there. i think there was about 400-500 blues there. we lost 2-1 it was a strange day .

I was in the Main Stand near the front; probably the bit that used to be the paddock. Four of us surrounded by lower life forms. IIRC we didn't start playing until we were two down.

How many city fans were there in about 94 when scholes scored and we lost 1-0? Quinn missed two 1 on 1s.
I watched it on the big screen at Maine Road and thought that we had a reduced allocation that year for some reason

That was the season no away fans were allowed in at all. I managed to get a ticket to this in their Main Stand and Niall missed the one-on-one early on. Obviously I gave the game away when I jumped up thinking he had scored. The rags near me were fine to be fair and I had a chat with them all. Decent bunch of lads TBH.

Scunthorpe reserves away, 1990ish

I was one of 2 City fans there and remember chatting to Mike Sheron who was a sub.

Several mad trips on Al Potter minibuses where there were very few blues
Torquay Midweek Away 0-0 in League Cup
Len Ashurst Testimonial at Newport County midweek
Rangers Away pre-season
Leyland DAF inaugural floodlight match

biggest game was a midweek league game at Goodison, went from Didsbury, when I was about 14/15 so mid70s and two of us stood in a paddock at the bottom of their main stand and there were about 50 blues on the other side of the fence in the corner of the Gladwys St end who were segregated from the scousers by about half a dozen coppers. There were only two coaches waiting at the park, never understood why there were so few blues there.

League Cup Match at Highbury in the 70s. We got beat 1-0 and Pat Jennings played a blinder for them. We were in the Clock End, pre segregation days, in a crowd of 57,000. Must have been no more than 200 City dotted around. Also went to the West Ham "rowdies" match in 1976. We were chucked out by the police for our own safety! We never took any fans to London in the 70s for some reason.

West Ham away in the 70s went a few times never a crowd of City just a few blues scateered about keping quiet

Asked my Dad about this earlier, he thinks he was at that West Ham game, was it 1974? He reckons we had two coaches, neither full
