Snooker

It’s an extremely low quality final, but it’s making it watchable. Jones needs to come out firing tonight, win the first three teams and see how Wilson reacts, he’s almost got nothing to lose at this stage.

Standard is, but you can’t take your eyes off it as any shot at any time can be missed. That creates tension and a bit of not knowing fully what will happen.
Possibly the tables causing doubt in the players’ minds if those pockets are tighter as the commentators say they are. The quality of games was excellent early on but it’s been a bit of a lottery since the QFs. From what I’ve seen of the final Jones has been competitive in most frames but lack of experience has cost him, like the yellow in the last frame last night, just run it in, man.

Seems to tire too. Wins more early frames and then loses the last couple in sessions.

I‘ve enjoyed it not being a potting festival. Safety battles can be epic.

Im no snooker expert, what do they actually mean by tighter pockets? Are they smaller than they usually are?
I was under the impression that snooker tables are made to strict dimensions, is this not the case and they change it up now and again?
