Have you heard the saying: one swallow does not make a summer?

Geez people were saying his touch is poor, he showed superb touch to score his first goal.

Then people were saying he is always off side, he stayed in position perfectly for the second.

Then people were saying he doesnt score goals, he scored two in 25 mins.

Cant win can he?

I never had any problem with his abilities - Think he is a class player (When he wants to be)

My problem was with his desire to play - They do say some people thrive on confidence it was obvious last night at the game once that 1st goal went in he looked at different player.

Lets hope he can put all his demons and problems behind him and start banging them in like he was at the start of last season - Starting on Sunday

I cant tell if this is serious or not because he played shite. But with some people if he had scored 3 penalties it would of been "cracking game from the lad"

Shite??? He had three cracking goals, and several game changing moments (e.g. the deliberate header to Silva from Hart, then turning and running into space in the box to guide a header into the bottom corner. Never mind the sublime turn into the box before scoring the first). He didn't run around like Tevez. But shite? Wow.

Spending 90% of his time offside whilst midfield players waited for him to stroll back onside to make an attack. Running jumping then ducking out of headers (until he did a few little flicks to nobody). Misplacing paces then throwing his arms about. But hey his turn for the first goal was class.

The best bit was when he thought he was going off for Wayne Bridge then had a little hissy fit in the centre circle when zabaleta went off.

The problem with Adebayor is that he brings much of the ill-feeling on himself with his hissy-fit amateur dramatics and whining and moaning in the press whenever he can't get a game.

When what he needs to do is get his head down and work harder and leave out all the prima donna stuff.

Goals last night were good for sure but bear in mind the average-at-best defending by Poznan for the first and second and the outstanding part played by Silva.

Mancini should not be in a hurry to ignore his instincts for Sunday by picking a formation just to fit him into the starting line-up. Stick with Tevez up front and Adebayor on the bench for the last 20 minutes if needed. 4-4-2 against Blackpool was a shambles for 65 minutes last weekend.

Not an Adebayor hater by any stretch of the imagination, but surely it takes more than one game before you can come out making definitive statements?

doesnt stop the ade haters though...he has barely played this season and people are already saying he is shit, get rid etc etc etc etc...zzzzzzzzzzz!!!

plus he has been injured and it takes more than training sessions to get match sharpness back
