So, Dzeko wants to stay?

There aint really much on this that I can find, Really was hoping he would be given more game time next season as the more he playes the better he is. When the squad is rotated and he is on the bench for a number of games he seems to go backwards.

Play dzecko & Johnson together and if we sign another winger for the left & get some more decent service in we can really utilise edin (in those games where aguero & tevez aren't playing...obviously)

Transcript of Dzeko's manager statement on Edin's web-site that to me tells you EVERYTHING you need to know about Edin's status (see bolded part):

"Edin is a City player and is happy in Manchester. He has no reason to change the club, especially when we talk about pure speculation as this one. He is not in Wolfsburg situation, where he desperately needed to change the club in order to progress. Now he plays in top league in the world, he is EPL champion, club's second-best scorer and happy with his status. He played a significant number of games and leaving City is currently not a real option..."

That's it in bold there - he is progressing (whether people see it or not) and no reason for steps backwards. I think he will only leave if ANOTHER top striker joins the club...which is, honestly, unlikely.
