never ever in all my years watching football have i ever witnessed such a frenzied attack on any club or any player.

Wow, is your middle name Hyperbole?

I'm hearing rumours that even if we win the league they are going to award it to United out of spite.

We're doooooomed, we're all dooooooooooomed.

I agree with 100% with De Niro, and would like to ask this question...........

When our owners took over, for the first 6 months they were referred to as the Arabs of Eastlands, we also saw in the press phrases such as -

- the desert rats,
- the Arab dagger hanging over the head of Mark Hughes
- Arab this that and the other

Why did it take some time to be called by their proper names, eg Sheikh Mansour and Khaldoon. It is disgraceful to refer to our owners in general terms with regard to their ethnicity. We don't refer to others eg, Chelsea, United owners in such disparaging terms, why ours.

Also it's clear that UEFA FFP regulations were introduced purely to stop us.

Yes of course because this doesn't affect anyone else at all

correction: it doesn't affect the established status quo at all.

I think this says it all.

"Referee Howard Webb awarded MBE for services to Manchester United
World Cup Final referee Howard Webb has been recognised by Queen Elizabeth II in the New Year Honours list for his selfless and dedicated work to Manchester United.

The police sergeant from Rotherham has been known to do everything in his power for the England’s biggest club, including sending opposing players off for unknown reasons, and most famously for giving them an inexplicable penalty when two goals down against Tottenham Hotspur at Old Trafford two years ago.

“He’s done so much for us,” admitted Sir Bobby Charlton. “That penalty against Spurs turned the game for us and undoubtedly won us the league that year. It’s his almost magical ability to conjure a United goal out of nothing that really sets him apart from other referees.”

“He’s been our twelfth on so many occasions so he really deserves his MBE.”

“I couldn’t think of anyone more deserving than our Howard. There’s no doubt that he’ll go down as an Old Trafford legend along with like Sir Matt and Sir Alex.”

Howard Webb MBE
Sir Alex Ferguson was full of praise for Webb, and said he fully deserved his place on the New Year Honours list.

“He’s one of the best players we’ve had in recent years. Cristiano Ronaldo may have been our top scorer that year but no one was more valuable to the side than Webby. He was worth at least twenty points for us.”

“A lot of people thought that we’d miss Cristiano when he left for Madrid at the end of that year but people seem to somehow forget that we always had the referee on our side, so it made bugger all difference.”

Now that Mr Webb has been recognised by the Queen, Manchester United fans have called for their club to do the same, perhaps having him a testimonial in his name.

“I’m not against the idea, myself,” said a fans representative, “but I think we could so much more for such a faithful servant. Some people think that we should rename the Stretford End after Webby but I still don’t think it’s enough.”

“I think we should erect a statue for him and maybe put it beside the one of Sir Matt, though personally I think it’d be best alongside the one of Bestie, Law and Charlton. That’s where he belongs.”

There is clearly an anti City bias out there, to call it an agenda suggests a degree of competence I find hard to accept the bent twats that are the media and the FA have. Different ships going in the same direction, sounds about right.

Have to say last season when Rooney swore down the camera it was shown just as much on skysports the difference was they had explayers/managers with more of a positive spin on his swearing on camera

Whay are you correcting me FFP affects Chelsea probably alot more than it will us, there is also PSG and Anzi machakakalalajakahjkalsoalska or whatever who can play in CL. Thats 4 clubs with owners splashing cash including ours. It was brought in to stop all this, not because Platini is racist to Arabs or has some massive dislike for City alone. He was voted in as UEFA chairman on the back of the promise he would cut spending in football. With the emergence of China and Brazil with massive money he may have to think about this as he could effectively kill off European football

There's an agenda in the media, that's obvious. Does this affect and influence referees and the FA? Maybe. The second you start believing that everyone's out to get you is when the men in white coats come for you though.
Some of the decisions we've had beggar belief but there's nothing we can do about it. We have good enough players to beat this. Everyone is jealous of us but we're playing great football and winning matches. We will win the league one day soon (hopefully this season.) Just enjoy the football and forget the agenda.
