the inconsistency of it all is another issue. i got something like 60 or 80 points for going to a £15 cup game two years ago. how is that anywhere near fair for the season ticket holders who, for whatever reason, didn't go to that game?!

Fair is not how I would describe your system. Are you suggesting you could have 4 mates with decent points who could buy a ticket for their mate with hardly any points - just because the "average" is high? BM would need a forum for people points sharing!
 
Dunno what the fuss is about the cup scheme. Personally i think teh club have handled the selling of tickets really well.

Was obvious at the start of the season, we would be in with a shout at getting to wembley, if some fans thought they'd rather not commit to going to the cup games, fair enough, dont mard arse about not getting final tickets then, you made your choice.

I wonder what the next scheme we'll all have to join up for to prove our loyalty, and avoid getting left behind the newer supporters with a bit of spare cash in the queue.

Platinum, cup scheme ... wonder whats next?

Some fans decided to gamble on the cup scheme or what cup schemes they would pick and it hasn't payed off, so need something to blame it on

They won't stop any season ticket holder joining the scheme. Where it will and up is scheme membership not guaranteeing you tickets though. Then it will revert to points.
 
I could have had a ticket for the final but chose not to.

I don't want anything to do with a system which rewards newer, richer fans at the expense of those who have proven loyalty stretching back decades.
 
You don't need to worry about the cup scheme, just join a small supporters club and you'll get a ticket anyway...........tin hat on!
