FAIR SYSTEM: cup scheme subscribers should be awarded temporary 'loyalty' points (e.g. give them 500 points that are then taken away at the end of the season), with all tickets then being sold solely on the level of points that a person has.
apologies if this has already been addressed by the club but, provided that each individual has a set number of points (e.g. 3/4/5/6 thousand), groups of up to five people should also be able to qualify for tickets based on the average of their combined points total. it's important that city acknowledge and understand that the primary reason most people go to games is to share moments with family/friends, which the cup schemes in their current state will continue to make more and more difficult.
the inconsistency of it all is another issue. i got something like 60 or 80 points for going to a £15 cup game two years ago. how is that anywhere near fair for the season ticket holders who, for whatever reason, didn't go to that game?!
the club must be foaming at the mouth at some of the posts in this thread.
