so the cup scheme then

If (as expected ?) everyone jumps onto the cup scheme band wagon, it will be back to who has the most points gets the tickets.
Is there a case for a separate qualification for cup games ? i.e. cup scheme members for 2 years ahead of first time members etc

ok so say we do a an fa cup loyalty plan. where do you start it? i mean surely the people already on it should be ahead of those that are about to join having been bit this time round.

here's a tip. go to the games, collect points, got to final.

all the people (moaners and non moaners) who have missed out simply have not attended as many games as those that qualify.
forget the cup scheme for a minute, those with 4k got one, those with 3k didn't. simple logic, go to the fucking games. even the early rounds that means.dont forget you can get points by attending prem games to, ok they are not played at wembley but you may still enjoy it.

swansea today is a terrible turn out.

nah

was in it when we won it last and my lad probably wouldn't have made it if we'd not been in

but this time we have better seats despite not being in it

Whether the cup scheme is right or wrong, everybody knew the criteria for it at the beginning of the season and had the choice to go on it. I put my two grown kids on it 6,000 pts a piece, where as me who has seen city play in a 100 grounds home and abroad in the last 40 years only have 1,000 pts on a citycard, too many years using my mates free company tickets at the Etihad and mates cards for the big aways. That's just life and the choices you make so any season ticket holder can't complain if they haven't got a cup final ticket and surely anybody else who's been watching city for 30+ years should be a bit more savvy in how to aquire tickets by other means

Will be joining FA Cup, not bothering with Europe or the League Cup as I'm joining the Army and will be based in Dorset. What a trek that would be on a weekday.

I like the FA Cup so I'll join pending a Seasoncard renewal. At the moment, I have to move seat if the away side brings a full whack of fans as I'm in 216. Tickets are guaranteed for every home tie and they're also cheaper than buying as new so it's a win win in that sense. Having priority for Wembley is actually lower down the list in terms of my motivation.

I won't be joining anything when you have no idea who we're playing or how much it'll cost.
Not interested in Europe so no need for that one, i got semi final and final tickets for the FA cup this year without attending any other cup games or being in the scheme so no real incentive to join it next year.
i'm pretty certain i'd be able to get a league cup final ticket if we get there so no need for that one either.
If we get an interesting home cup draw at an acceptable price it'll be easy to get tickets so i'll pick and choose my games without being forced to pay for it

Yep..... join or get left behind.....as simple as that
Wasn't that clear after the 2011 Cup final allocation? Anybody moaning since then is either a latecomer or just THICK! A few with genuine financial circumstances I have sympathy for but that can be the only reason.

The 2011 final gave priority to loyalty points for the first two or three categories. Scheme members on low points came in after that.
