United are the story because they have a new manager but if the press pack were all camped outside our door looking to fill column inches, as they have been in the past, every time someone on the way past said "yeah, we aren't a bad side" we'd have a headline of "pelle throws down the gauntlet" or "bring it on Jose".

Things are just fine. The days of us making our own negative headlines every week are behind us. We will make our headlines on the pitch.
