I think that's a valid point but more to do with the World Cup. Once the season was over it was all about that. I've seen it more since the World Cup finish on adverts, reviews of last year and previews of this in the past week than in the 6 or 7 before put together.

I dare say it's the same every 4 years.

Shush; you'll only upset the agenda-nistas.

Ha. I think if you want to believe in the agenda then you can find evidence. Most of the time there are reasons for the so called evidence. There's also bias which most reporters and media outlets will have. They are looking to sell their product to the biggest audience obviously which at the present time is the rags and Liverpool. No one would argue they are the two biggest supported clubs in the land. But a bias is not an agenda.

too right
MANCHESTER CITY FC

A great sheikh-up fuelled by Abu Dhabi petro-dollars made Manchester City the richest club in the world. And, on May 13, 2012, it landed them the Premier League title. Having regained the trophy from the clutches of neighbours United in 2014, City will be looking towards Champions League glory next time around

I found the advert for the Manchester City media job as well.

Which doesn't take much tbh.

If you three seasoned sceptics just put aside your prejudices and simply acknowledged the ocular proof provided by BM's king of sceptics, this thread could concentrate on combating the manifest injustices perpetrated hourly upon us by our enemies.

I finally got round to watching SLY TV's review of 2013/14 last night.

Putting to one side the fact that 7th placed United were featured far more prominently than Champions City and as much of their
coverage was positive as negative (eulogies about Shrek & the Family Man for example) it was quite obvious to anybody new to
football that the wrong team won the title.

The title was effectively won, according to SLY, by Liverpool's second "goal" being wrongly disallowed for offside at The Etihad.
This mistake was compounded by Liverpool being robbed of points at Stamford Bridge and City wrongly getting the win at
St James' Park (even though we won 2-0 and they should have had a man sent off).

The abysmal pro scouse referring at the return game at Anfield, naturally, wasn't mentioned nor the fact that they benefited
from game changing decisions at, for example, Stoke.

We know the truth but new fans around the world probably don't. The coverage we and our rivals get will have some bearing
on how we are perceived and who these new fans support. Of course there is an agenda.
