Shinawatra used to use him for all his electrical work. Needed a lot of that did Thaksin. Paid well too.

What did he get back in return?
All his electrics worked like a dream.

So our main complaint is that Clattenburg is blatantly corrupt, but no longer to our advantage ?

I think the thread has now morphed into marginally paranoid vs sceptical but sanguine.
Bigenda vs Aias.

i'll make it clear.

the media want clicks and viewers, so bias.

uefa want much more, global viewing figures. we smash that wide open and could dump any of the cartel out of a prospective glamour final. hence a clear agenda to weaken us and safeguard the established clubs.

First point - universally agreed on this forum for the reason given, don't know why we are still debating it

Second point - this is the debate we should be having
As George refuses to answer, the cartel who is it? The sky 4 ? A pan European one ?

As we become the behemoth we all think we are becoming, does this make the second point redundant as we become the very thing you say uefa want?

i think in all honesty we also suffer from platini's personal hatred of us and how we got our money. maybe he has an axe to grind with our owners for non football reasons. despite being drawn in a group of death almost every season, we also get fucked over by refs should we be close to making the knock outs. bayern away (tevez gate) two clear pens turned down. ajax home and away, bent as fuck. the groups seem to be getting harder the more co efficiants we reach. even when we draw a crap side from pot 4 they are moved to uniteds group (cruj) and replaced by dortmund. then we have ffp, how there is ANY fairness in a team restriced to 49m as another can spend 200m. its so obvious its unbelievable people can't see it. of course we know they can but something stops them saying so.

Well done.

TBH I'm uncomfortable with the thought that we have partaken in a little skulduggery. I hope we are above such things now.
I hope Clattenburg gets fucked by a disease riddled horse.

Man City Star out of Arsenal Clash with ‘Massive Problem’
By talkSPORT (@talkSPORT) | Friday, September 12, 2014

Manchester City will be without midfielder Fernando and striker Stevan Jovetic for this weekend's Premier League clash with Arsenal.
Fernando limped out of the surprise loss to Stoke a fortnight ago with a groin injury and also looks likely to miss key encounters with Bayern Munich and Chelsea in the next week.

Manager Manuel Pellegrini said: "We have Fernando out injured - he has a massive problem, maybe a couple of weeks more, and also Stevan Jovetic. He came back from his national team with a problem in his hamstring. I hope Stevan could be fit next week, thought I am not sure."

Meanwhile, Jovetic, who has impressed in the early part of the season, scoring twice against Liverpool last month, suffered a hamstring injury while on international duty with Montenegro last week.
