Haha, are you being serious ?
it happened
It's like asking why John Lennon didn't join the Bay City Rollers after the Beatles spilt up.
Oi! Shang a lang and Bye Bye Baby are modern classics.

''You're the one girl in town I'd marry,
Girl, I'd marry you now if I were free,
I wish it could be...''

Lennon would have killed his granny to write lyrics like that.

Was with my dad (a big red) before and saw Ladyman, the reprehensible Neil Custis and others on some MUTV panel covering their stories. Custis with the old "everyone wants to join Man United" tripe and the journalists acting like United cheerleaders on their official channel.

Reading from a script presumably. They are a fucking disgrace to their so called profession.

Reporting for duty at Swamp HQ.

Have any of these sewer rats in the media praised the substitutions from Pellers?

As well as Sergio played, he was staring to get isolated. When Jovo came on, he had a foil. So much so that it was his interception that directly led to the equaliser.

As for Zaba, he raised the tempo straight away. I saw one Bayern player shit out of a challenge due to his presence alone. Even his throw ins had urgency and purpose.

The reason I ask is that I can guarantee what would have been written if we had not won. "Pellegrini tactically naive, ineffective substitutions as the manager looked on impassively etc, etc".

The wankathon for Jose or Van Gaal would have been unbearable if they'd made similar changes resulting in the same outcome.

I think the media had their stories/articles and headlines written when we were losing and didn't really bother changing them once we'd won

For the second season running we beat Bayern and get slagged off. Last year it was because we didn't score enough, this year it's because of the so called poor performance. Durham today(I know he's a prick) stated that Pelli didn't have a 'plan to beat 10 men' - now despite the obvious fact that we did beat them, Pelli did have a 'plan b' as the striker he brought on set-up both goals by pressuring the defenders

It's not the media's pathetic appraisal that bothers me, it's that people(non City fans) believe all this shit without question

This is what The Independent made of the contribution of Jovetic:

Came on for Milner with over half an hour remaining and although at times looked menacing, it was largely another blunt display. 5/10

there is nothing as sad as a proffessional being made to pay the piper.
