With all due respect pal.My mum could have got us out of that group and I guarantee you our previous manager would have even managed it despite his record in europe.

Mancini's record in Russia and the Ukraine at both Inter and City were two defeats.

He amassed a very healthy point tally in our first champions league group. People forget how bloody hard those 2 seasons worth of groups were and after watching us get a mauling from Bayern this season then I can tell you with certainty that Manuel wouldn't have got out of those groups either. Mancini and my dear departed Mum would have also got through this group (after a mauling off bayern)

Ten points, as a matter of fact. Only twice in the history of the competition has ten points not been enough.

I miss Bobby.

Lets not forget we only got 10 points because Bayern didn't need anything from the last game. Mancini can't come anywhere near Pellegrini when European records are compared whatever you think of their respective domestic records.

Are you basing this on last season?

Los Dos won plenty in Europe heading up Barca.

Pellegrini, whilst not lifting either of the majors did win the Intertoto. Although much maligned, it has been won by such luminaries as Bremen, Hamburg, Marseille, Schalke, Udinese, Lyon and Bordeaux who saw fit to take it seriously along with Fulham, West Ham, Villa and Newcastle.

Clutching at straws now mate.

"See you again Manuel!"(and his mate who sits next to him in the dugout, or whatever it's called now?)

I'm sure Pellegrini will get it right eventually. Or at least I hope he will.

He got Villarreal to a CL semi final and was a minute away from taking Malaga to a semi final. Far greater than anything Mancini has done in Europe.
