So why suddenly do they talk about Aguero leaving?

Let look at this for what it is, Aguero got a slight knock a few weeks ago, nothing major but a knock none the less, Jesus came on against the Spuds and burst into life, next game against Palace in the cup he rested Aguero and gave Jesus a start. Jesus had a MOTM performance and so kept his place against West Ham. seems fair enough to me,

Guess what, he played a key part against West Ham and scored again in what was maybe our best league performance of he season and again gets MOTM, guess what !! he keeps his place against Swansea scores two goals and gets the MOTM again. He is a player bang in form, scoring goals and making chances, why would Pep drop him for Aguero at the moment? There is no reason to, believe me he is only 19 years old and at some point his form will dip for a while and we will have a fresh and hungry Aguero ready to regain hos place. When he does Jesus will have to battle to get back in the team.

To be brutally frank about this Aguero is a world class plyer who has broken premier league scoring records and has earned legendary status with the club, he has provided us with the greatest moment in my football memory and I am sure will go on to be our all time top scorer.

Jesus looks a fantastic prospect and the world is at his feet but at the moment that is it, he has scored a few goals for us and put in some excellent perfomances but he has along long way to go to be seriously considered as a better player than our Kun, I really hope to god that he does become a better player and we see the talent blossom but anyone who thinks AAguero's story with us is over needs to give their head a wobble.

While all you say is true, What cannot be ignored is that the whole front line is more fluent, interchangeable and potent with Jesus than with Aguero. Aguero plays with the mindset that he is the focus of the strike force with the job of the other forward players being that of providers and assisters. Pep's system demands far more flexibility. In my opinion it is no coincidence that Pep has relegated Aguero to the bench as soon as a player more in keeping with his system has arrived. I'm not saying that Aguero's departure is imminent, what i would say is that Aguero will have to change his style of play if he wants his place back.

By the way Jesus reminds me of Romario although Ronaldo rates him.

If he fulfills his potentials and becomes the next Romario its good enough for us!

Pep has not fully backed him from start and that I find concerning. Even when he praised him beginning of the season he added but he wants to improve him - did not hear him say same about Silva or Fern or even Yaya once agent issue was solved. Also not picking him against Barc still does not make sense other than there is something going on between two.
