SOLD OUT! - CL QF vs Tottenham

I lost my daughters seasoncard a few months back. I phoned up and tried to sort it out and they said they'd send replacement out. Three days before Chelsea game still no replacement so phoned up again and they said I'd have to collect ticket from office before game. It took nigh on 45 minutes to collect them. About a week later replacement came and I thought job done. Next game we went in and ticket didn't register but the guy on gate let us in (cheers pal) Totally forgot about this incident and it happened again next game(again was let in) so I phoned the office again a few weeks back and they said they'd send me paper tickets to my address for remaining games. STILL NO TICKETS! I've given up and will have to queue for tickets again Saturday morning which is going to be a pain in the arse again. But this is the latest fuck up in a very long list.
Have you tried asking for Print @Home tickets? Need access to a decent printer, of course. I hope eventually we get proper scanners like those at the airport that can scan a phone. Or booths outside the ground that print the ticket like at some cinemas, and the minihad (IIRC).

I don't understand this sold out crap. I couldn't give a toss if I'm the only Blue sat in the stand watching Pep Guardiola' s City team playing, I'm a happy camper. Full-stop.
It represents the pride that a community of people has in its club. It is inspiring to be with a force of 50,000 people united in one small space behind one team.

I get your point mate but the players only you would be watching would have to pay subs.
I get your point but match-day revenues are swamped by every other source. However, it might be a bit awkward me calling the ref a **** every 5 minutes for all and sundry to hear.

Yeah, it is a great feeling and we'll get to experience it tonight.

This obsession with selling out goes back to when all the seats for a game were around the same price and everyone worked either 9-5 or in t'mill. There were empties at Juventus last night, in what I expect were expensive seats, but nothing was mentioned.

Well done City fans for selling out, especially as I'm giving this one a miss, but it's not a barometer of how loyal fans are.

Listen fella I regularly forget my season card 4 times this season. I always see the guys in the blue bibs with the hand held machines, give him my supporter number and proof of ID and they let you in no problem (still have to join the queue to be searched mind you).

I know it doesn't solve your problem with the authorised card (i missed 25 minutes of the opening game of the season for the same reason) but with 2 home games to go if you haven't got the time or inclination to queue at the ticket office outside match days it might be your best bet.

There were batches of empty seats in the Kop on Sunday. Not mentioned by scouse fanboy Tyler

I was given the print option but with it being so far ahead of the game I thought I'd take the ticket option. Think I'll take Kinkys left Pegs advice and just give them my details if need be. Cheers
