Some Of Our Fans

Was behind the goal and there seemed to be a scuffle to the right about half way up, a few dibble seemed to be involved. sorry if already mentioned but couldn't be arsed to wade through 24 pages :)

As many people have already said " Most clubs have all got SOME silly people putting it mildly! My moto is and always will be ignore them & just enjoy watching/following OUR team!

-- Mon Mar 03, 2014 8:38 pm --

544 no trouble with a great atmosphere!

I don't remember ever seeing this dickhead mentality in the last 30 years, but I've certainly noticed it in the last 2-3 years or so. Smoking where they want, being drunk as skunks, not giving a toss who they offend, letting off flares, swearing terribly (the C word) in front of kids. I'm not sure I like being around some "city fans" anymore. I remember going to my first game at age 7 in the 1980s. I heard the odd F word but it wasn't so bad, and I eventually took younger brothers when I was in my teens, but I absolutely wouldn't take my daughter now, no matter what age. Our "fans" have become animals. Sorry to say it.

Bite all you like. Some of our "fans" are dickheads. There was always the odd one, but they seem to be multiplying.

You're just a kid .......the 70's and 80's would have seen you off probably.

I don't think there's many people who went to away games regularly in the 80's who'd say the worse thing they saw was the odd person using the F word.

If you made it back to the station at a lot of games without at least been bottled or stabbed a couple of times, it was considered uneventful.
