Don't Stop Believing by Journey

Have thought that since I first bought the Escape album with it on in 1981.....sang it all the way back from Wembley that year, off our heads.....Perfect for us. (Can't believe it's finally a hit here after all these years....lol)

Was sitting on the train coming back from Manchester yesterday listening to Megadeth's "Youthanasia" album and the track 'The Killing Road' has the line, 'Lost my mind, I lost all my money, I lost my life to the killing road' - It reminded me somewhat of City, losing my mind, money and life to watching that shower.

In The Smiths song 'What difference does it make?' there is the line 'Yes we may be hidden by rags, but we've got something they'll never have'

Obviously I think 'Some might say we will find a brighter day' relates to City in many ways, or else I wouldn't of had it on a flag!

What's yours?

You sit there? O:
I sit really near you!

232?

'I want it now, I want it now, not the promises of what tomorrow brings' - Nothing lasts forever by Echo & The Bunnymen.

'I'm free to be whatever I, whatever I choose and I'll sing the blues if I want' - Whatever by Oasis.

'Tears of rage run down your face but still you say it's love' - When You're Young by The Jam.

Walking in the footsteps
Of society's lies
I don't like what I see no more
Sometimes I wish that I was blind
Sometimes I wait forever
To stand out in the rain
So no one sees me cryin'
Trying to wash away the pain

Mother father
There's things I've done I can't erase
Every night we fall from grace
It's hard with the world in yours face
Try to hold on, try to hold on

Faith: you know you're gonna live thru the rain
Lord you got to keep the faith
Faith: don't let your love turn to hate
Right now we got to keep the faith
Faith: now it's not too late
Try to hold on, try to hold on
Keep the faith
