In short, it's nice to be the best but it's better to be nice. Let's hope they can make this club the place that players and fans alike want to be.
Exactly, great quote

I agree partly with that, but all top clubs do have a ruthless streak and that shouldn't be overlooked in my view.

Anyone else find it odd that our new execs have their own fanboy following?
Unheard of if you ask me.
I am simply interested in seeing how our owners are developing our club into a force at home and abroad.
This is another calculated step by them to bring these men in, I am just looking forward to see us kick on

Playing side
1. Playing style – to have a consistent style running through all City sides.
2. To play attractive, attacking football in a sporting manner.
3. Have pace, creativity, spontaneity and a mindset of not being beaten.
4. Become the club that the best players in the world want to play for.
5. Transfers – where able, continue to do business outside the glare of the media. The club have targets or not, the club do not need to engage with the media in confirming potential targets. Confirm transfers when they are done.
6. Academy – continue to recruit the world’s best youngsters, not forgetting those on our doorstep.
7. Look at other sports to see what can be learnt to improve training & rehabilitation of players.

Etihad Campus
1. World class visitor destination that promotes itself and MCFC.
2. Enlarged stadium
3. Cash conscious Stadium ticket pricing e.g. lead the way in fighting sky high prices.
4. Develop links with Council e.g. transport - subsidised passes on trams for football fans.
5. Put the community at the heart of City and be known world wide as a leading, if not the lead community club.
6. Put Manchester Schools Cup Finals on at the Etihad, if such finals exist. If not introduce the cup.

Fans
1. Freeze season & match ticket prices for next 2 seasons.
2. Season Tickets – offer 0% interest for sales
3. Continue to implement creative offers to increase young fans to be able to attend matches. They are the future of our club.
4. Look at cost of merchandise e.g. shirts for both adults & children – do they really have to be such a high a cost?
5. If not already done, consult with Supporters’ Club/s about Viagogo ticket exchange scheme – what are the benefits and why should City fans use it.
6. Continue with Chairman Khaldoon Al Mubarak ‘review’ at the end of the Season on website. This is really good, does any other club do anything like this?
7. Continue to listen to fans and take on board beneficial suggestions.

I want city to kick arse none of this picking opponents up of the floor or being nice, I want to see paparazzi chased around the training pitch by dobermans, I want to see spit in the press men's cuppas, i want to see hypocrites like gill taken to court, i want to see a total ruthless no mercy streak, because being nice to all these cnuts has got us nowhere,

Some progression in the Champions League would be nice. We worked so hard to get there that two consecutive seasons of not even qualifying from the group is frustrating.

This started promising until it turned once more into a 'Sack the Manager' thread.

I'm getting to the point where I want Mancini to stay just so he p*sses certain posters off, even more than he does now. It'll also mean we're still winning things.

If he does get sacked though, I'll be on the new manager like a tramp on chips if he doesn't win every game or the CL in his first year. Then, I'll blame the board and ask for their head on a plate because my chips were cold, just for the sake of it.

Forza Man City.

I'll tell what will be funny if Mourinho does come here, and that'll be watching all his detractors squirm with embarassment as he delivers trophy after trophy. Didsbury Dave probably has a little black book with all your names in it ;).
"Squirm with embarrassment"?! You clearly don't have the first clue why people don't like or want Mourinho here.

You've posted this crap before.

Tell you what, fella; why don't you try and actually read what people say about Mourinho when they say why they don't like him. Then you won't have to pop back with that same line again.

It has absolutely nowt, at all, to do with thinking he will fail here.
