sort the pitch out.

The stadium groundsman is the same, Lee Jackson as is the grounds manager, Roy Rigby.

The pitch is looking more worn but for an explanation consider;

Four competitions worth of games
Pre match training
Continuous rain

i.e. Increased wear levels + reduced recovery time + poor weather = worse pitch

How can we pretend to be running a world class football operation with this sort of pitch? This is not holistic! Sack the ground staff! And make sure the new lads speak Spanish as their first language too.

I am joking of course. Everyone knows top notch groundsmen all speak cymru. ;)

The OP is right the pitch was bad last night. Navas rolled his ankle. It may better to avoid prematch training the day before the game in times of severe rain?

It is beginning to look a little threadbare in places. A consequence of training on it before every game perhaps?

Hardly something worth moaning about though.

If training on the pitch means an average of four goals a game long may it continue
