I'm 41 and stand and sing, when everyone else does too. When I was 31 I would stand up and sing on my own, that's the main difference. Also I always lost my voice for 2 days after the match, don't anymore.

The main problem here is the fact that people believe that the views of a few people on bluemoon represent the feelings of a majority of city fans its a mistake often made on threads , i am just surprised the club have made the same assumtion.

the club needs to publish this on its website, with every ticket bought, at the villa game, on it's facebook etc. etc. it also needs to make it really easy for people to relocate. at the moment noones got a clue whats going on.

just want to know are all of the blue alliance going in this this stand, I hope you are ;)

It was put on the website and facebook page a couple of weeks ago, I said it earlier and others have said the same-the minority who think they are speaking for the majority aren't always right and given the poor take up so far this certainly seems one of those occasions. No one can blame a lack of publicity as it has been put our there by the club, it's on here as well, people obviously aren't that bothered or feel they don't want to give up a better seat to sit behind the goal where the view may not be as good-also remember there have been a couple of very negative threads on here recently about fans experiences in there with other City fans recently that won't help.

You can't force people to sit/stand where you want them to, it's their choice and from what I can see the so called fans representatives who put forward this idea appear to have been off the mark with this one.

This looks like a disaster in the making, has anyone seen how many seats are left in the South Stand? There's more not taken than there have been sold.

It's a pity fans can't be arsed with this. I'm a bit past it now & a miserable sod, so find people get on my tits quite easily these days, but if I was younger I'd be in there making a row no problem.

The club is giving an opportunity to create an atmosphere like the old days but if comments on here are representative, it seems most people have to rely on away fans to do the job for them & respondiong to that rather than being able to do it for themselves like in the old days. I suppose if football started today, the Kop or Kippax would never exist, just be a handful of people watching the opposing fans instead because they can't think of enough things to cheer about their own teams. I notice the rags fans rarely sing about Utd. Perhaps we're following.

It doesn't mean it's not going to be full in there...

No one expects it to sell out a week in advance but the sheer amount of seats left in this conceptual area suggests there is very little excitement about it.
