The Stones-in-midfield plan didn't really work today which is a shame, but at least we changed it and looked all the better for going to a normal back four.

For some reason, Southampton are one of the best teams in the league for pressing Rodri and whoever is with him. They don't touch our defenders or Ederson, but the second it comes into deep midfield whoever their trigger does an amazing job. It's one of the reasons why they have had as much success as they have had against us.
