IMO. Salisou, for them puts his body on the line. Laporte didn't.

I thought Foden, Rodri and Laporte should have been quicker to close that down. He may still have scored but It’s rare one of our full backs gets that much space to get a shot away. For me it summed up our very slow start to the game. There are some games where we absolutely fly off the block like Watford, Leicester and Leeds and others where we look like we are half asleep and it takes 30 mins to get going. Fortunately our class usually tells but this time it just wasn’t quite enough despite the efforts in the 2nd half.

I'm not complaining. Just everybody is criticising Foden. I thought Laporte could have done better too.
So you're point about all the other games has absolutely no bearing.

Yes, I found it odd. I've got to say I've always understood that the line is itself part of the penalty area. And when the foul was committed, you could clearly see that two defenders had their foot on the line. Did Kev? Not sure, very difficult to see. So I'm not sure how the rule works in that case.
