Not a bad performance at all. We can’t and won’t win every game. Unfortunately var was correct no matter how much we wish it wasn’t. Not a lot wrong from city today and no need for any ball aching. We are doing fine and there was nothing today that suggests otherwise. Some good performances. Laporte was good. Unless I’m missing something Sterling was fine. Just a normal result on football.

I agree it seems to have been slightly less bent this season (so far), but they can't possibly not give us anything, but things are often given when it won't affect the result. Yourself reflected on yellow cards for time wasting usually being 88th minute against us, when it often start in the first 5 minutes.

Not sure it affected the result today either, the penalty we didn't get (I think sky said it wasn't given because KdB was outside the box - he was for the first tackle, but the second was inside, and he didn't touch the ball only KdB's leg), we'd have probably missed, and playing 10 men often doesn't help us either.

I disagree this season, wolves was 0-0 and we was struggling. Arsenal we was losing. Newcastle we was 2 up but you could say a pen for them at that point opens the game up. Before this season yeah, any we got seemed to be when it didn’t matter. Not so far

Next there's the 'yellow' card foul on Laporte, you'd have to be blind not to see it as red. Yet the referee and VAR miss it?

At normal speed I thought he got it right, it was just late and attempt to play the ball, but we have var for a reason (so we're told), and the replays quite clearly show it should be a red not a yellow, all in the studio after thought so, though Micah took a little persuasion.

As I said above about the penalty not given, there were 2 tackles, the first might have got a touch on the ball, and might have been outside anyway, but the replay clearly showed the second didn't touch the ball, and was definitely inside.

We saw (far too) many replays of both incidents on the match footage to show that, nobody will persuade me that liverpool wouldn't be found in favour both times.

Snidey little piece of slime says ‘I think the officials got it right’ and then after Lineker said but he showed a photo of a gash ‘the title race is back on’. I really really want to scream at the unfairness of it all!!!!! Sorry folks.

I thought it was just outside. To be honest the pen Southampton got at our place that was overturned was a fortunate one for us as it looked a pen to me.

We didn’t win because we didn’t take our chances and we gave away a really sloppy goal. That was way too easy. We have to work hard for our goals on the whole. Theirs was piss easy although well finished.
