Southampton are a very good team with some excellent players and a very, very good manager and this was a really difficult game for us. We weren't at our best but I give some of the credit to Southampton. As everyone says we were under the cosh for the last 15 mins of the first half and right at the start of the second, but what was clearly proved is that City can still produce moments of brilliance when it seems least likely. 4-1 was a very flattering scoreline but it was nevertheless real and Southampton must be stunned.
