of courseBut do you remember who scored for the opposition on his debut?

Firstly,I would say our victory against Blackburn is without doubt the most convincing score lineWhat? You think we were good?
By asking if that's the worst 4-1 ever I'm saying have we ever come out with such a convincing scoreline that doesn't match the performance.
We were better against palace midweek than we were today, we were better in the 1-1 draw against them in the league at Saint Mary's than we was today. One of our poorest performances of the season on the whole yet one of our better results. Some poor mistakes from them and some moments of pure class primarily from our subs put a shine on that. Not complaining, give me another 16 of those please, result was all that mattered but in my opinion Pep won't be pleased with that performance despite the inevitable interviews saying the usual about us being so so good.
I found them ok outside the ground, met quite a few in Browns pub before and after and they were really friendly and nice to my kids. However inside the ground I thought they were rubbish, about 300 of them singing, and having the cheek to sing you’re support is fucking shit to us.I don't like Southampton one bit. Weird fans and people. I sailed with a fair few from that region years ago and they were invariably cocky not nice people. Portsmouth fans call them scummers for this reason.
According to some Portsmouth fans, the term "scum" developed out of an fictitious acronym standing for Southampton City (or Corporation) Union Men, with the term allegedly originating from when Southampton dockyard workers supposedly crossed the picket lines in the 1930s when Portsmouth dockyard workers were on strike.
I don't like them for causing a huge fuss about the ticket allocation for our last ever game at Maine Road then beating us 1-0. After all the fuss they didn't even sell out their ticket allocation, which is normal for them. Then they sing "Your support is fucking shit" to us after we took almost 5,000 fans on a Sunday for a 400 mile round trip bring shown live on the TV. Fuck off Southampton and then fuck off some more.

Still my all time favourite player.of course
Wasn't these two,was it?It can be the same at the match too pal. There were 2 blokes behind me, utter bell end cunts, shouting abuse at players at every mis hit pass, fucking knobs. I just about kept it together and didn’t say anything as I was there with my 2 lads but when we turned round to do the Poznań at 3 1 and the gobbiest of the two cunts was stood there facing forward with his arms folded I had to tell him what a **** he was. How people can travel that far and just shout continuous senseless abuse at our players is beyond me. These two made the matchday thread seem like an oasis of positivity
Funnily enough I referred to them to my kids as being like Waldorf and Statler on a mixture of cocaine and anti depressants gone wrong, my lads said Waldorf and who, but they were indeed like a nasty loud version of these two
It could have been these two, or it coujd have been Fantasy Ireland and Pannick at the Disco
I’m sure they used to do the them in velvet caps at some point it probably imagined it!I am not sure that I have ever seen a hat used for the draw, despite the common phrase. I would guess that it used to relate to a political vote of some sort but you have got me thinking. Funny how I have never considered it before.
at 1-1 we didnt look good, we had odd good spell but odd shite spell, sloppy & bad passes, thought it was a good idea for all our players to wear orange bots then they could recognise each other.
once we finished our chances and passed better it got the better of the saints, did we tire them out ?
But up until 1-1 we didnt look like a title wining / champions league winner, if Southampton can do a job on us then how can we compete. We have had 2 or 3 games like this recently, need to re group.
Has to be said we could and should have been 6-1 with the sitters we missed.
