Southampton (A) | Post Match Thread

We've been sloppy for a month and a half, giving the ball away.. hasn't really come back to haunt us apart from Spurs but that giving the ball away by Cancelo for the Southampton goal was very much like Walker giving the ball away to Spurs with not much left on the clock.

I'm happy for the win but we papered over the cracks and there are cracks.

Hopefully after the break we can cut our sloppiness and mistakes down so we can make a good run in the business part of the season!

But if we don't win anything.. we'll have only our own mistakes to blame!
 
Should have been done and dusted by half time.
Too many chances missed and most worrying of all we played inept Wenger Ball from 5 mins after our first goal till 60 mins.
We're going to win fuck all this season unless we get a grip.
 
Not great to start with but a smooth finish. Sets us up for the bigger tests to come.

I suppose one good thing about winning like that is the dippers and haters will have started to watch hoping we go out, only to end up seeing us win in glorious fashion.
