if you look at the stats It was worse in the mid 90's, A lot was done with inner city scheme's to help reduce gang culture. those schemes were killed in Austerity and no surprise 10-15 years later we're back to where we were with Gang culture and knife crime. one main difference now is reporting. it gets a lot more airtime than it did due to social media and camera's everwhere.


to me the only way to fix it is to treat the problem not the symptom. and even then you will always still have anomalies, this doesn't seem to be your standard gang incident for sure.

In the 1990s gang crime involved more guns, especially in Manchester, But Knife crime is out of control and kids are carrying knives all the time even in schools, My grandson's school is all about postcodes gangs and where you live and they are even told not to mix in schools,

Look until the Government starts to say enough and sort this mess out more stabbings and death will happen

Why?

It's odd

For me, any attack of this sort is an act of terrorism, regardless of who carries it out.

I guess what they mean it's not carried out by someone liked to a terrorist group, and how would they know that just hours after the incident? You would need to do some real digging to find out if they are linked to terrorism. There's no way you could conclude that in hours. You would need to check any technological devices they have, recover any deleted information, check who they associate with etc.

There's no way that can be determined within hours
